Job Description

Global entertainment company with interests in Film & TV are looking for an ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified Senior FP&A Analyst to work across FP&A and other teams to forecast total company Cashflow and Production Accounts, explaining any subsequent variances. You will deliver a consistently high quality of sales performance reporting to TV and other divisions as directed by line management and assist in the preparation of divisional budgets, forecasts, monthly reporting and other tasks as directed by line management.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide financial analysis/ modelling, and valuations for evaluating potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and Joint Ventures
  • Perform due diligence, prepare presentations for senior management, and coordinate with senior executives to support and execute transactions
  • Monitor existing investments performance vs business plan, and lead "look back analysis"
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses at the request of senior executives and divisional CFO
  • Support the integration of newly acquired businesses and JV/Startups
  • Support the greenlight process, including coordinating with tracking sales and status of new shows, ensuring shows are signed off on a timely basis
  • Provide support to the Business Affairs team, to model alternative scenarios for potential new show commissions
  • Provide support to the FP&A team as needed, in particular, to ensure the material and complex Global Drama shows are included in the forecast and 3-year plans appropriately
  • Ad hoc projects, reporting and analysis
  • Other duties as required by the business - this role has been specified at a high level and is expected to incorporate further activities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Degree qualified
  • Strong Excel and modelling skills; good systems orientation
  • Strong system skills in SAP/BW/BPC
  • Analytical and insightful
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with finance and non-finance people
  • Self-motivated, flexible and a high level of initiative
