Senior FP&A Analyst - Film/TV

Global entertainment company with interests in Film & TV are looking for a ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified Senior FP&A Analyst to work across FP&A and other teams to forecast total company Cashflow and MUR (Master User Royalty), explaining any subsequent variances. You will deliver a consistently high quality of sales performance reporting to TV and other divisions as directed by line management and assist in preparation of divisional budgets, forecasts, monthly reporting and other tasks as directed by line management.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Reporting Scope: UK & Ireland TV Division - this scope may be varied over time as directed by the business
  • Cashflow and MUR Scope: All UK Entities
  • Prepare Cashflow reports, forecasts and variance analysis, co-ordinate all sources of information required to complete for review.
  • Acquisition Reporting (quarterly & adhoc P&Ls).
  • Month Review of TV P&L & reporting.
  • Liaise with AR Processing Manager to ensure billings of TV revenue (UK entity) are accurate.
  • Budgeting and forecast of TV Revenue & Overheads.
  • Cross Divisional By-Title Reporting (TV & SVOD).
  • Review MUR forecasts in line with Theatrical, Home Ent & TV P&L submission, co-ordinate all sources of information required to complete for review.
  • Ad hoc projects, reporting and analysis
  • Other duties as required by the business - this role has been specified at a high level and is expected to incorporate further activities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Strong Excel and modelling skills; good systems orientation
  • Strong system skills in SAP/BW/BPC
  • Analytical and insightful
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with finance and non-finance people
  • Self motivated, flexible and a high level of initiative.
