Handle have partnered with a creative media company looking to bring on board a senior HR generalist to develop a seamless, smooth running HR function and manage critical HR projects. This is an initial 12 month FTC but strong potential for this to be a longer term role within the business.
Supporting a super creative workforce who are all invested in the company mission - the business is well established, but they have been revamping how they approach HR, bringing in a HR Director who is building a more progressive, forward thinking way of working. This role will be the number two and play a key role delivering HR initiatives, launching projects from scratch and building a high functioning, seamless HR Operation.
Ideally you will have a wealth of experience to tap into from well established companies where you learnt what great looks like and be able to translate that best practice to a smaller, more reactive and unstructured creative company.
Connecting with the business and truly getting under the skin of the company culture is essential, this is a very nuanced and creative environment. You will be able to influence challenging stakeholders through excellent relationship building skills and your high level of emotional intelligence.
You will be working strategically but also be happy being hands on delivering project work around salary/benchmarking, performance management frameworks, implementing an HRIS, wellbeing and engagement initiatives, overhauling the benefits and reward offering etc. You will look at everything from their early careers programme through to launching new initiatives around D&I so there is so much to get involved in! You'll be a self starter, working as an individual contributor as well as collaborating with the wider HR team when necessary.
