Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Business Relationship Management team at a global Entertainment business.

Business Analysis:

  • Responsible for engaging with customers to gain their trust and a deep understanding of their businesses
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of applications
  • Requirements (whether they be 'pure' business requirements, process improvement or re-engineering, or software design) will always be highly accurate, appropriately detailed and without ambiguity, and be complete, current and appropriately stored
  • Understand and become an expert in the customers' strategies and business processes and represent their interests
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across different business channels, markets and regions, on a wide range of projects and systems
  • Collaborate with the development team to proactively suggest change in process and workflow in order to improve the efficiency of the customer
  • Liaise with all regions to promote EMEA's requirements, prioritise issues, collaborate, and share knowledge and initiatives
  • Writing epics, stories and tasks, maintaining the product backlogs, facilitating all project meetings including prioritisation meetings and story-writing workshops
  • Where processes are to be re-engineered, the job holder will provide this service to the customer
  • Ensure risks and issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
  • Clearly communicate progress on assigned tasks/projects
  • Responsible for working with the Business Relationship Manager to ensure that all processes/procedures are reviewed, improved, updated, and implemented as required
  • In implementation projects, the job holder will provide a hands-on service to customer to ensure the smooth running of the project
  • When required, provide the role of Project Manager, managing budgets and resources, ensuring costs and standards are met, and enforcing project deadlines.
  • Provide business change management services to the customers such as modelling change, communicating change, involving others in the change, generally being supportive of the customer and championing the change, and evaluating and ensuring business readiness
  • Produce compelling business cases to justify requirements and change requests
  • Schedule and manage UAT and provide signoff in line with the project plan and predefined deadlines
  • Provide third-line support service in line with the incident management process
  • As an acknowledged expert, provide training services to the customer (or other team members), including creating detailed documentation tailored to specific users and stakeholders
  • Support the Business Relationship Manager in preparing for meetings. This can involve report generation and analysis, booking meeting rooms, customer engagement (understanding and meeting the stakeholders' needs, managing expectations)
  • Assist in the collection and consolidation of required information and data
  • Check and validate that data in reporting is accurate
  • Attend meetings with the Business Relationship Manager, or in some cases run the meetings if the Business Relationship Manager is unable to attend
  • Draft notes, communicate and follow up on any meeting actions
  • Promote and embody the Business Relationship Management team's values

  • Relevant Business and/or Computer Science degree with significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst in a global organisation
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to complete assignments with speed, accuracy, and quality
