Social Editor - Broadcast
My client are a well-known broadcaster, looking for a Social Editor to implement, drive and build a community for one of their most popular channels. This would perfectly suit someone with a passion for broadcast and solid experience in working across social media. This is a vital position in fulfilling the channels social media ambitions.
You will be a motivated self-starter with a keen eye for content and an appetite for building communities through social media outlets, managing 2 members of staff, you will be a confident leader.
- Owning and building the channels social output, which will include overseeing and managing campaigns across key commissions through owned, earned and paid social.
- Daily work on the brand projects across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
- Management of the Social Producer and close work with them to create content that puts audiences first, with consideration of brand tone and voice.
- Taking leadership on the tone of voice, specifically taking on the challenge to build a social identity for this channel through copy writing and editorial.
- Building the brands affinity and relatability through branded content in relation to titles shown on the channel.
You Will Have:
- A genuine passion for broadcast and social media, as well as a knack for what captures people's attention and builds a community.
- Superb editorial skills, a thorough understanding of social media and a keen eye for content.
- Proven understanding of social media and the latest trends.
- The ability to manage multiple projects at once, along with excellent organisational skills.
