Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a Training and Development manager to join this well-established music business for initially 6 months. Currently in a period of exciting change, this is a truly people focused business who value the development of their staff.

You will be delivering a range of Training and Development initiatives across the business, including soft skill behavioural development, management development, employee engagement, talent management and cultural change projects. Providing an excellent customer service to all internal and external customers, you will work collaboratively with both stakeholder managers and other members of the People and OD Team to achieve departmental objectives and ultimately the company goals.

The business is looking for someone consultative in their approach, using initiative and thinking on their feet especially when dealing with difficult and emotive situations.

Key Accountabilities…

Company Wide Training - management of annual appraisal process, design and development of training calendar, team building and coaching, technical systems training

Employee Engagement - taking ownership of employee engagement survey actions and internal communications to promote companywide engagement initiatives through effective and visible communications.

Learning & Career Development - act as a Career Development Coach to employees and managers across the business using psychometric and other tools in order to develop a culture of continuous development and individual ownership.

Systems - implementation and maintenance of a Learning Management System, developing an on-line learning culture, maintaining systems and data for all learning activity

Talent Management - To design, deliver and/or arrange suitable and effective management and leadership programmes in order to define and develop manager competence.

Projects - The role will have a heavy slant on project work, playing a key role in a change impact study, business transition plan, driving change management developing a culture which embraces change.
