Web Developer (Node & React) Node developer / React Developer - London - Agile - Broadcast

Very competitive day rates

We are looking for an exceptional JavaScript developer to work with our client - a globally recognised media brand.

This will be a 6 months contract to build a React application with ES6 to the highest standards.

*You'll be building a new VOD/OTT application so Broadcast it's a greenfield project which started few months ago.

*Nice to have both React and NodeJS experience

Responsibilities:

  • improve the front end functionality and user experience
  • Code reviews and testing
  • Estimation and design of new front end features and upgrades
  • Collaborate closely with the design team
  • semantic markup patterns

As a React / JavaScript contractor you will have a senior level experience with:

  • ReactJS (react/redux)
  • Javascript
  • HTML5 and semantic markup
  • BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Pair Programming
  • CSS / Sass
  • large responsive design projects

Desirable:

  • Reactive programming (RxJS)
  • Node Development experience
  • OTT / VOD Streaming Experience
  • React eco-system tools, Yarn, ReactRouter, etc.
