An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a leading UK television production and management group.
The AP Assistant will support the Purchase Ledger Manager in the delivery of all aspects of the accounts payable function.
The main responsibilities:
- Creating and reviewing purchase orders
- Processing multi-currency invoices
- Liaising with suppliers on a regular basis, building a good working relationship
- Reconciling supplier statements monthly to ensure all invoices are recorded ahead of period end
- Responding to queries
- Liaising with colleagues to ensure invoices are coded and approved in a timely manner
- Processing weekly payment runs
- Processing direct debit payments ensuring correct allocations
- Checking and processing employee expenses
- Other duties and projects as required by the Purchase Ledger Manager
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum 1-2 years AP experience in the commercial environment at a similar level essential
- An interest in the media/entertainment industry would be preferable
