Do you have a passion for music and are you familiar with file formats from the 80's on-wards?
We are looking for an Archive Assistant to join a record label at their London site on a temporary contract, to assist with the cataloguing of collection and management of information records. This is a temporary contract that will run for the duration of the project, but should last roughly 2-3 months.
As a priority you will:
- Process a large volume of assets
- Update data onto the online system in an accurate and efficient manner.
- You will evaluate records for preservation and retention
- Asses items that may be fragile or high-risk, and need digitising or conserving.
To be successful, you will need:
- Experience in a data entry role
- Computer literate
- Good knowledge of music production, recording studios, rehearsal studios and Audio and Visual formats from the 80's onwards.
