Handle Recruitment is pleased to have partnered with a pioneering talent development organisation and charity specialising in Jazz music to source a Part Time Data Manager.

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and managing quality stakeholder data that will underpin our programmatic, fundraising and marketing activity. This role is also responsible for providing in-depth reporting, analysis and insight. Supporting our income generation, communications and talent development teams, the role will be instrumental in turning insight into action.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Develop brief, then commission new CRM database
Develop, manage and maintain CRM database and proactively identify areas for improvement in data management
Drive system and process improvements that will enhance data processing, reporting and insight
Provide specialist technical support for CRM to users
Maximise our ability to make evidence-based decisions through data gathering and analysis, to unlock the value of supporter, learner and professional data, and drive income and engagement
Work with team members to identify and develop measures to monitor and model performance
Identify and analyse key trends in giving patterns to help with the overall fundraising strategy
Develop and manage import and export of data to and from CRM
Cleanse data prior to importing and run routine quality checks on imported data
Provide training and advice to all users.
Produce an annual Data Plan and budget in consultation with stakeholders. You will be responsible for the delivery of the plan, raising any issues/risks and reporting progress on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent technical knowledge of managing CRM databases (Salesforce/Dynamics)
Principles of database marketing and how to get the most from CRM systems
Experience managing and developing CRM database (Salesforce/MS Dynamics)
Helping users get the most out of the CRM system
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects, relationships and deadlines in a fastpaced and demanding fundraising environment
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data matching, statistical tools)
Good analytical skill and mindset
