Finance Analyst - Creative Agency - Central London
A leader within the Creative Agency space are looking for a permanent Finance Analyst to join the team in the Central London offices. As FP&A Analyst you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of financial management information from both revenue and expense channels.
We are looking for someone who has a highly commercial business acumen, who is confident in building and maintaining professional relationships. You will be an integral member of the team, utilising your strong financial knowledge and professionalism to assist on ad-hoc projects and guide junior team members where appropriate.

Key responsibilities: (but not limited to)
- Supporting the Group FP&A Analyst to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the agency reporting
- Reviewing all forecasting assumptions held within financial models, keeping them relevant and up to date
- Preparing various forecasting and reporting to support management planning and decision making where appropriate
- Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the companies financial structure, objectives and vision to evaluate how decisions will impact these
- Examining and evaluating the financial health of the business, offering your recommendations alongside the Group FP&A Analyst to agency management
- Assisting with accurate preparation of group budgets, forecasts and reforecasts
- Comparing historical results against the forecasts to evaluate variance analysis and suggest improvements
- Overseeing the data housekeeping on our project management system to allow accurate reporting, including the weekly monitoring of agency timesheets
- Performing company and client analysis based on metrics including growth, profitability, efficiency and affordability
- Preparing financial reports to allow for strategic decision making within the senior management meeting
- Working alongside the client services team and the Finance Director on the analysis of commercial insights required for RFI's and client requests
- Supporting the department heads with analysis, such as utilisation and client profitability
- Working closely with the finance team to maintain and refine financial processes, ensuring client projects are in line with budgets
Key skills:
- Experience working within a commercial/analytical role previously
- 2-3 years experience in Finance would be ideal with experience in management accounting (ideally)
- A background within a Creative company is highly desirable
- Studying towards a professional qualification
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to form strong internal relationships
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a proactive fast-paced environment
- Advanced excel skills including v-look ups, pivot tables, Macros and VBA
