Interim Finance Analyst needed for an instantly recognisable media brand! This is a 6-month, fixed term contract position, working closely with the Head of FP&A. It's a very broad mix of FP&A, financial reporting and commercial finance. Therefore, my client is looking for a technically strong, yet commercially oriented finance professional.
Key responsibilities include -
- Assist the EMEA team with all corporate reporting and ad hoc analysis for all of the EMEA territories
- Provide accurate and timely management information to the Exec Management Team
- Present completed balance sheet & P&L reviews to Finance VPs
- Take ownership of the month end close processes for the commercial and corporate operations
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures to support growth
- Assist with the annual budgets and quarterly forecast cycles
- Act a business partner to a range of senior stakeholders
Candidate requirements -
- Part or fully qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Previous experience in working with a busy FP&A and commercial team
- Strong financial background with ability to evaluate financial impact of business decisions
- Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy & adherence to deadlines
- Experience of working in a regional group headquarters
- Media experience is desirable but not essential
