Handle are thrilled to be partnering with leading producer and curator of events, hosting over 500 live and online events annually. We are looing to source a Press Manager to lead on all press activities for the shows and tours, working closely with the producers to maximise awareness for the shows.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with press experience and looking to take on a new challenge within a dynamic team. Are you a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communications skills and have active press and media contacts in the industry? This could be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise and develop publicity campaigns and strategies with key stakeholders for all shows and tours
- Using initiative and proactivity, you will be able and confident to generate your own creative ideas and drive them through to execute successful campaigns.
- Media liaison - developing and maintaining great relationships with a broad range of print, online and broadcast media; make use of these relationships for the benefit of our clients and projects.
- Talent liaison and relationship management/building to enable (but not exclusively) successful delivery of publicity campaigns.
- Accompanying talent to press opportunities including TV appearances, radio appearances, interviews.
- Write engaging and professional copy for press releases, presentations and reports.
- 360° awareness of the campaigns/clients you are working on; if news is breaking or stories are being written, it is essential to be across this.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-3 Years of experience in a similar role
- Active Press and Media contacts in the industry
- Accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to short deadlines
- Excellent time management skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Dynamic with a hands-on, can-do attitude
