Senior FP&A Analyst - Music
Rapidly expanding music company are looking for a qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA Senior FP&A Analyst to join their team in a key role to support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis.
This varied role will involve:
- Performance Tracking and Providing Insight
- Provide ongoing actual vs forecast tracking for each catalogue
- Produce internal and external KPI and performance reporting
- Ensure Maestro vs Finance reconciliations are completed and reviewed
- Provide commentary for quarterly management reporting
- Provide insight to departments across the business to drive commercial decision-making and revenue assurance
- Ad-hoc analysis as required by the Head of FP&A and Finance Director
Data Management and Business Intelligence:
- Ensure data is appropriately stored, structured and systemized
- Collect and use data from financial and non-financial sources to enhance analysis of financial data and to enhance insight into catalogue performance
- Build Power BI dashboards for departments across the business to provide actionable 'Live' data to drive decision making
- Work with the royalties team to ensure statement data is properly stored and interrogated to enable delivery of insight to the business
Financial Planning:
- Creating budgets for sign-off of ongoing Group costs as well as exceptional costs for ad-hoc projects and workstreams
- Reforecasting catalogue models based on actual earnings
- Support data collection and analysis for new business propositions
- Support data collection and analysis for all internal and external reporting
- Import Forecast and Budget data into Dynamics
Other:
- Support innovation
- Be a data and systems super user across finance and royalty systems and data
- Assist in any other matter as required by the FD or CFO
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified CIMA, CA or ACCA
- Music experience required
- BI experience required (e.g. Power BI/ Tableau)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (sumifs, index, match, lookups, indirect)
- Resilient, professional pro-active and positive attitude required
