A fantastic opportunity has come up for a Settlement Analyst with global tickets and marketing company who partners with some of the largest UK venues and festivals. As the Settlement Analyst will be part of a small team based in the UK and will be responsible for a number of business critical tasks for the new venue business. You will ensure the smooth completion of weekly settlements including the timely distribution of settlement reports as well as reporting of secondary sales.

A successful candidate should be a real team player, who collaboratively wants to be a support to the ever expanding business. Ideally should thrive working in a fast paced environment and understand the importance of meeting deadlines along with a meticulous eye for detail.

An ideal candidate must have excellent Advanced Excel skills along with brilliant communication and the ability to pick up new systems with ease.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the production of weekly reporting to support financial settlements with clients.

  • Responsible for the distribution of settlement reports and invoices to clients.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any system challenges involving finance / accounting or settlement reporting.

  • Perform pricing analysis for event creation.

  • Prepare weekly reporting to support financial settlement with clients.

  • Regular system checking.

  • Perform pricing analysis for event creation and investigate reporting anomalies, providing resolutions as appropriate.

  • Support the operational team with any customer queries.

  • Work closely with operational teams when dealing with order cancellations, refund issues or cancelled events.

  • Understand the process of building and maintaining events on the in house system.

  • Maximise knowledge of system reports and tools to support in research and problem solving.

  • Other ad hoc duties as required by the FP&A Manager.

Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is essential for this role, including queries and pivot tables.

  • Ability to master a new technology quickly.

  • Familiarity with accounting concepts and terminology.

  • Ability to form close working relationships with stakeholders of all levels.

  • Knowledge of ticketing industry advantageous.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organisation skills and a meticulous eye for detail.

  • Experience of handling volume and large transactions.
