Handle Recruitment’s highly acclaimed HR Mentoring Scheme is back - and this time round we are inviting HR professionals from the world of Fashion and Retail to get involved.

Launched in July 2011, the scheme has gone from strength-to-strength with each round of participants. Now in its fifth season – the programme is widely regarded as a leading developmental tool throughout the HR industry.

Due to unprecedented demand, this spring marks the first time the HR Mentoring Scheme has been offered exclusively to a specific industry sector. By narrowing the experiences and expertise of those involved, we can ensure that each Mentor and Mentee can be matched to achieve maximum benefit.

HR professionals are, by their very nature, adept at offering guidance and support to others. And mentoring programmes can provide an inexpensive alternative to traditional training which is mutually beneficial for both the mentor and the mentee. While the mentee becomes more self-aware through gaining confidence, insights and improving their existing skills, the mentor gets an opportunity to hone their management capabilities and to gain a fresh perspective on their industry.

Mentors are not only able to share practical skills, but also offer a behavioural education which can only be achieved by forging a close relationship with their prodigy. With guidance and encouragement from the Handle HR team – who are adept at facilitating and managing these relationships -both parties will reap the rewards of the programme. Sharing skills, expertise and contacts within a specific industry will ultimately benefit everyone involved.

So, if you’re an HR professional within the Fashion and Retail industry, why not give us a call?
