London Fashion Week: What to look out for

London is transformed with the return of the iconic week of fashion.

A vast selection of specially curated events all make up the 2023 London Fashion Week’s City Wide Celebration in partnership with the British Fashion Council. From the 15th to the 19th of September, the public will be able to attend live music performances, Q&A sessions, sustainability workshops and other one-of-a-kind experiences, with the focus being on inclusivity and conscious fashion.

Here is our pick of some of the events across the week.

Rebel: 30 Years of London Fashion at The Design Museum

Location: The Design Museum, 224-238 Kensington High Street, W8 6AG

Date: Saturday 16th September - Tuesday 19th September

Showcasing the story of innovative young designers whose work has changed the trajectory of fashion, this exhibition will contain over 100 pieces of some of their earliest work. Held in partnership with the British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN programme, which aims to support the best and emerging fashion talent, this exhibition will surely leave you in awe.

RAEBURN: Regenerative by Design

Location: The Lab E20, 3-4 East Park Walk, East Village, Stratford, E20 1JB

Date: Saturday 16th September - Tuesday 19th September

The Lab is the flagship for the world of experimental retail and sustainable practices in East Village. For London Fashion Week they're partnering with Get Living, which celebrates London climate and carbon cultural innovation. The events, produced by RAEBURN, will aim to educate viewers on the material innovation happening in London to deliver materials and textiles that are less harmful to the environment.

Anya Hindmarch

Location: Anya Hindmarch, The Village Hall, 11 Pont Street, SW1X 9EH

Date: Friday 15th September - Tuesday 19th September

The Village in London's Chelsea will host Anya Hindmarch's latest concept store this September - a stationery shop created in partnership with the legendary Japanese specialist stationers, Itoya. The first time Itoya has left Japan, this store will hold one-of-a-kind products and collector's items.
