This week we celebrate the BFI Future Film Festival an annual event for aspiring filmmakers aged 16 - 25.
This year’s BFI Future Film Festival will include four jam-packed days filled with masterclasses, workshops, screenings, and networking opportunities, with events programmed across three strands: Storytelling, Business of Film and Career Ladder.
55 short films have been selected to be screened for the first time at the event and the programme has been shaped by the 10 BFI Film Academy Young Programmers. The event is presented by the BFI Film Academy, who run events all year to give young people the chance to break into the film industry.
