UpliftTogether and Handle Recruitment

It was an absolute pleasure to host another UpliftTOGETHER networking event and to support so many exceptional women.

Focusing on “How do we develop Transferable and Future Skills?”, alongside many new and returning faces, our very own Melanie, Emma, Emma and Stephanie, joined the UpliftHER ambassadors to facilitate a series of break-out sessions.

If you were unable to make this session, don’t worry as this is the first of four events that we are hosting this year for UpliftHER – so make sure you follow us and connect with Amy Mercer and Christina Graham!

Many of our Handle staff also attended the event, here is what they had to say:

Bobbie Turner, Managing Consultant

"The UpliftHER event was inspiring and encouraged some meaningful conversations around being a woman in the creative industry - now networking feels like a less daunting and rewarding activity!"

Melanie Leighton, Consultant

"Successful event, and an enjoyable evening. There is something very empowering with a room full of women."

Steph Leetch, Consultant

"A warm environment to chat and share ideas, including new tech & AI and the value of a mentor, it was great to meet so many women!"

Gill Bell , Executive Director of People and Executive Coaching

"3 hours at the UpliftHER event was 3 hours very well spent; a time for some reflection, connecting with someone who could help me solve a problem and sharing my experiences with those in their early career journeys."

Miah Beal, Head of Client Services, Handle Freelance Solutions

"The UpliftHER event on Tuesday gave women working within the creative industry a platform to share insight into the prospects and challenges within the industry, whilst also building a wider network. I found it to be an extremely empowering and motivating event, that was also supportive and friendly and focused on taking away the ‘daunting’ aspect of networking."
