Love Camden's Black History Season
Camden Council is back with its Black History Season themed ‘Reclaiming Narratives’, a three-month celebration of Black culture, creativity, and community running until December.
Now in its fifth year, the season will host a rich calendar of events across film, exhibitions, talks, walking tours, workshops, and fashion - all designed to educate, inspire and empower.
Families can enjoy the return of ‘Explore Africa!’ workshops in local libraries this October hosting fun, hands-on sessions exploring African languages, food, and flags.
And for food lovers, a series of supper clubs will celebrate flavours from the Caribbean, Ethiopia, and Eritrea, paired with live music and poetry throughout November and December.
Most events are free, with proceeds from paid ones supporting The Black Curriculum.
