We are looking for an Associate New Business Director who has in-depth experience working with a Senior Leadership team within an agency environment.
As an independent media & buying agency, they help clients make informed choices using software, data analysis and strategic insights. The Associate New Business Director will understand the media landscape, work with the pitch team leaders, have connections with intermediaries and influencers and can nurture their New Business Manager.
This role will work closely with the Managing Director and CEO.
Salary - £75,000 + 5% yearly company bonus
Location - Central London - hybrid role, 2 days in the office
Key Responsibilities:
- Building a New Business strategy for the agency creating a 12-month New Business plan and executing it.
- Delivering £1million of new revenue
- Owning the New Business sell for the agency across our full-service, digital and consultancy offers, working with the Senior leadership team to build a compelling story and asset around each element.
- Creating opportunities from cold outreach.
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure that the content that they are producing is utilised in the right ways to drive conversations with new clients and break new ground.
- Managing the New Business process from credentials. chemistry, RFPs and tender right through to pitches, post pitch analysis.
- Build out their current ways of working with intermediaries, creative agency partners and influencers.
- Networking to deliver new tactical opportunities for the agency that match their ideal client objectives and hit their new business targets.
- Reporting their new business pipeline, tracking all conversations and opportunities that they deliver as a business - using their CRM tool HubSpot to its full potential. Tracking and growing a weighted new business pipeline.
- Targeting their Gold and Silver new business targets across digital, consultancy and full service.
- Managing the development of their New Business Manager.
Skills & Experience:
- Working within New Business at a media agency - this is essential
- Understanding of the market and where the opportunities are
- Good understanding of their competitive set.
- A book of contacts for new business prospecting - This is essential
- Great communicator, attention to detail, team player, willing to go the extra mile for the agency.
- Entrepreneurial mentality.
- Good connections with our intermediaries, creative partners and influencers
- Knowledge of best practice reporting for New Business
- Experienced calm level-headed leader
