CFO - TV Production
World renowned entertainment brand is looking for a CFO to act as key member of the executive leadership team, working with the global TV Production Managing Director and the Global Director of Finance and Strategy to drive strategic growth and ensure financial excellence. The role requires a forward-thinking leader who can align financial planning with creative ambition, oversee cross-border operations, and support sustainable expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Work closely with the Managing Director to shape long-term business strategy, including M&A, investment, and international growth opportunities.
- Provide financial insight to support decision-making across production, distribution, and corporate functions.
Financial Management
- Lead all financial operations for production companies, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow, and compliance across multiple territories.
- Improve prodcos' reportings timing and accuracy, and KPIs / management reports formats.
- Coordinate financial aspects of the collaboration between the production & acquisition teams and the distribution teams (for financing / greenlighting and for actual production & distribution flows).
- Facilitate the communication between the prodcos finance teams and the Group's financial services (consolidation, fp&a, treasury, …).
- Keep track of the existing agreements with prodcos' and contribute to new M&A projects.
Operational Excellence
- Strengthen financial systems and processes, establish KPIs, and support production teams with cost control and profitability.
Commercial & Deal-Making
- Develop robust business plans, lead financial aspects of acquisitions and partnerships, and bring expertise in global TV/film economics.
Collaboration & Counsel
- Partner with creative, commercial, and corporate leaders to align strategy; act as a trusted advisor to regional CFOs and production partners.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing international finance team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in TV/Film Production.
- Track record in M&A, investment structuring, and financial modelling within TV/Film.
- Strong international experience with knowledge of European financial regulations and cross-border operations.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification preferred; fluent English (other European languages a plus).
- Strategic yet hands-on, culturally aware, excellent communicator, and passionate about supporting creative vision with sound financial leadership.
