A media publishing house has a brand new opportunity for a Commerical Data Strategist to join their commercial team, working across their digital advertising client base. This role will partner closely with sales, trade and clients of the brands, and requires strong data analysis and slick presentation skills.
The role
Spearhead digital advertising revenue growth and the adoption of data products internally and with clients
Seek strategic collaborations with data - such as connecting with media agency data platforms, external retail media platforms, and use of first-party data.
Work closely with Sales to educate and support knowledge and use of data products and capabilities, ensure data is used to its full commercial potential
Attend client and agency meetings and present our data proposition in a compelling way.
Lead and regularly develop our go-to-market data proposition
Work closely with our most valuable clients to look for ways in which data can help embed our media in their long-term planning.
Help drive the direction of our data product roadmap, by providing insight into what drives value for customers.
Stay abreast of the latest market trends and developments relating to data and identity
The candidate
Digital advertising experience in either agency on brand setting
Passion and know how for all things data
A strong communicator with the ability to interpret data and translate it into a meaningful story with actionable points in context of media industry
Strong presentation experience, ideally with advertisers, media owners or media agencies
Commercial acumen and demonstrable experience of using data to grow advertising revenue
