Are you an experienced Facilities Manager that is super forward thinking, can work independently and has managed commercial buildings? This could be the role for you!

A Facilities Manager is required to oversee the day-to-day & hands-on maintenance of internationally recognised Art Studios, by coordinating maintenance, build and manage relationships with contractors, as well carry out small repairs and maintenance jobs.

This role is based in London where the Facilities Manager will operate on a hybrid basis and travel to the respective commercial spaces accordingly. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage day-to-day maintenance of entire London property portfolio.
  • To carry out regular plant & equipment checks as required
  • Ensure regular emergency equipment checks including fire and intruder alarms, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers are completed
  • Manage the maintenance of building equipment
  • Provide out of hours support during special events, as required
  • Ad hoc day to day maintenance as required
  • Lighting checks prior to public opening hours of commercial buildings
  • Respond to immediate building requirements whilst buildings are in use
  • Set maintenance protocols for buildings to adopt and be managed individually

Does the below sound like you?

  • Multi skilled within property maintenance work-streams, including mechanical and electrical
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Willingness to demonstrate a hands-on and pro-active approach to the role
  • Understanding of facilities within a home and respecting the space when the clients are home, but being fully reactive when required
  • Keen understanding of quality, commercial thinking, time and costs
  • Ability to work unsupervised
