Our client is a leading Creative Market Agency with a global footprint and is looking for a Fully Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Commercial Manager to come on board their London team
As the Commercial Manger you will be working with the account management teams and the Commercial Finance Team to produce accurate annual, quarterly and rolling monthly forecasts on time for internal and group management, working closely with the Senior Commercial Manager on overall agency forecasting.
The role will also include but not be limited to:
- Contract Compliance. Work with the account teams to ensure that both parties are complying with the contract.
- Account Profitability. Work closely with the account management teams to ensure they are running the account efficiently.
- Reporting and Analysis. Along with the other members of the Commercial Finance Team, produce analysis to aid the efficient running of the business.
- Systems and Processes. Develop effective, accurate and efficient systems and processes to manage the responsibilities of the department.
- Liaising with Shared Services. Assist in enhancing communications between the Commercial Team and Shared Services to ensure a consistent approach across the finance function, adherence to agreed processes and to improve knowledge sharing.
- Month End. Ensure revenue, staff and costs are recognised or deferred in line with revenue recognition rules and with required audit back up.
- WIP Management. Ensure that through the life of a project costs are being recorded
- accurately and in line with budgets.
- Working Capital Reporting. Ensure that the working capital position is reported accurately and on time to group management.
- Audit and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX). Create and manage processes to ensure that the company is compliant with audit and SOX rules.
The ideal candidate:
- Will be Fully Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with relevant commercial experience.
- Previous experience working within a creative business; ideally Marketing/Agency
