We have a superb opportunity for a Customer Marketing Manager to work for one of our Global Digital Publishing clients on an on-going temporary basis.


In summary, the key responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies, campaigns and activities that focus on the growth of customer bases of media owners and vendors in the Adtech and marketing technology space.


Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will be required to liaise closely with the product and sales teams, maximising opportunities and ensuring products and services meet the requirements of key audiences.


The ideal candidate will have experience within Adtech or Digital Publishing and will be comfortable developing partnerships with existing partners and future prospects.


Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy for media owners and specialist suppliers globally, identifying specific regional approaches and opportunities.
  • Manage growth of audience, customers and revenue from these segments across all markets with a particular focus on the US.
  • Ensure our existing products and services are positioned and aligned with the needs of media owners and specialist suppliers.
  • Report to the business on any significant trends.
  • Establish strong connections and networks within the respective groups.
  • Work closely with the Heads of Product to develop plans consistent with product.
  • Identify and promote a package of appropriate products and solutions.
  • Ensure alignment of existing and new marketing programmes for these groups.
  • Lead and input to initiatives focused on these segments, liaising with colleagues across departments including editorial and events.
  • Monitor, measure and report on campaign effectiveness, audience engagement and ROI.


Candidate Profile

  • Experience in a customer focused marketing role, ideally in the media or B2B sector.
  • The ability to create and deliver an effective, customer-focused sales and marketing plan.
  • An expert in growth marketing.
  • Appreciation of the current trends and patterns including an appreciation of changing customer needs from these segments.
  • The ability to define and specify product packages and solutions for global and regional growth.
  • Confident working with sales and marketing teams to develop and deliver strategies and plans.
