Handle Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager for a fantastic opportunity to lead digital revenue growth within a well-established events business, working across market-leading portfolios in sectors like Safety, Security, Fire, and Emergency Services. You'll manage key accounts and develop innovative digital solutions, making a genuine impact on long-term growth.
In this role you will:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of 30-40 key client accounts across multiple event brands
- Sell a range of digital products including advertising, webinars, white papers, and online platforms
- Build strong relationships through client meetings, calls, and site visits
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and content
- Contribute to shaping and executing the digital sales strategy as the portfolio evolves
To be successful, you will need:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within events, media, or digital products
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in face-to-face client interactions and on the phone
- Organisation and a commercially minded approach to growth
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel, including some international trips
