Handle Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager for a fantastic opportunity to lead digital revenue growth within a well-established events business, working across market-leading portfolios in sectors like Safety, Security, Fire, and Emergency Services. You'll manage key accounts and develop innovative digital solutions, making a genuine impact on long-term growth.
In this role you will:
Manage and grow a portfolio of 30-40 key client accounts across multiple event brands
Sell a range of digital products including advertising, webinars, white papers, and online platforms
Build strong relationships through client meetings, calls, and site visits
Collaborate closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and content
Contribute to shaping and executing the digital sales strategy as the portfolio evolves
To be successful, you will need:
Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within events, media, or digital products
Strong account management and relationship-building skills
Confidence in face-to-face client interactions and on the phone
Organisation and a commercially minded approach to growth
Full driving licence and willingness to travel, including some international trips
