An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director of a globally recognised publishing company on a 1-month temporary basis. This is a fantastic role for someone highly organised, discreet, and confident working in a fast-paced, senior-level environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Manage a busy diary: schedule meetings, appointments, and organise travel arrangements
  • Act as a gatekeeper for all correspondence - handling emails, calls, and communications professionally and sensitively
  • Prepare reports, documents, presentations, and agendas in advance of meetings
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on behalf of the MD
  • Support with occasional personal tasks and ad hoc projects
  • Be proactive and anticipate the MD's needs to ensure they are fully prepared for engagements

Key Requirements:

  • Available to start immediately (no notice period)
  • Proven experience as a PA or EA, supporting at Managing Director or C-suite level
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and multitasking skills
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working in-office 5 days per week
  • A calm, professional manner and a high level of discretion
