Handle Recruitment is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join a leading tech brand on their Payments & Commerce division of the business!
*This is a 12 month contract to start asap, up to £400 per day PAYE Inside IR35 and hybrid working 3 days a week in the London office*
Responsibilities of the role will include -
- Lead Program Management Office assigned engagements
- Align with internal EPMs and external cross-functional teams to create technical project timetables, milestones, and associated achievements to meet project delivery goals
- Establish and prioritize project issues using issue tracking system
- Facilitate program issue resolution across fellow EPMs and external partners to drive them to closure by bringing together key stakeholders for decision making resolution
- Effectively utilize internal systems and software tools to accomplish assigned tasks
- Clearly and continually communicate overall program status using established methods
To be successful in this role you will have -
- Proven past in technical and engineering project delivery
- Strong background in project management using leadership and teamwork to achieve established technical milestones for program delivery
- Ability to understand program priorities and incorporate into actionable steps
- Ability to establish program milestones in ambiguous settings and remain flexible and calm when facing uncertainty
- Effective presentation, oral, and written business communication skills
- Ability to understand basic system dependencies
- Ability to positively respond and adapt to changes in business scenarios
