Event Director, London- Event Agency

This is an exciting chance for an outstanding senior events leader to join the rapidly expanding events arm of one of Europe's most dynamic agencies, renowned across the industry for delivering world-class event and travel solutions. As Event Director, you'll take the lead on bringing major events to life across key accounts. This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll develop standout concepts, oversee significant budgets, and help shape the direction of the wider event offering.

Your key focus will be to:

  • Deliver projects flawlessly, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and tailoring solutions to their unique needs

  • Guide, motivate, and support the events team to achieve outstanding results

  • Play an important role in strategic business growth, on-boarding new clients and strengthening relationships with existing accounts

  • Bring fresh thinking and a proactive mindset to help drive the business forward

  • Build trusted client relationships and fully understand their goals and expectations

  • Navigate challenges confidently and consistently deliver high-quality service

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 10+ years of experience delivering global Brand Experiences, Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Expositions, including 5+ years producing within an agency environment

  • Strong ability to develop detailed proposals and deliver engaging, creative pitches

  • Proven experience managing RFP processes

  • Solid understanding of AV and production workflows

  • Exceptional operational skills, including experience in building and implementing efficient processes

  • Deep knowledge of international venues and sourcing

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-value budgets across multiple currencies

  • Confidence in forecasting and revenue planning to support strategic decision-making

  • Strong people-management abilities, with experience leading teams of four or more

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluent English essential

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce, PowerPoint, and related tools


This role is based in London and offers hybrid working, 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
