We are currently seeking an outstanding Event Director to join their fast-growing event division. Events offers a service that is uncompromising in delivering seamless, well considered, high quality event solutions to global corporate clients, leading brands, and industry names.

Role Overview

  • Event Director (£65-75K depending on experience)

  • Location: South London - 4 days in the office - Fridays WFH (Plus an additional 20 days a year to work from home)

The Event Director will be responsible for the successful project delivery of events across all key accounts, managing and leading the events team, and driving success. This is an opportunity to grow in this hands-on multifaceted role from creating new concepts to managing large scale budgets.

Working on strategic business development and on boarding new accounts whilst maintaining and enhancing our existing client base. Working proactively and thinking outside of the box, you are responsible for the growth of the business and providing support to the leadership team. You will work closely with other business departments on multiple projects and accounts to always ensure customer satisfaction and smooth project delivery. Overcoming business challenges to provide personalised solutions by developing relationships and understanding client requirements to deliver a first-class service.

Key Attributes

  • Creating detailed proposals and creative client pitching.

  • Experience with RFP's.

  • Great understanding of AV and production.

  • Excellent ability in event operations, implementation and execution of processes.

  • Solid understanding of global venues, alongside excellent research skills.

  • Confident in managing large scale budgets in multiple currencies.

  • Providing support with forecasting and revenue projections.

  • Ensuring consistency of company standards internally and externally enhancing the brand.

  • Demonstrate outstanding time management, problem solving and organisational skills.

  • Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize and work to tight deadlines.

  • Willingness to take initiative and to adapt a 'can-do' and flexible attitude.

  • A creative and organised mindset.

  • Delivering a great customer experience and maintaining an above and beyond attitude.

  • Excellent line management experience of teams of 4+

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Fluency in English is essential and proficiency in other languages is a bonus.

  • Proven experience with IT programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Sales force, and PowerPoint.
