Handle are delighted to be working with a creative agency in their search for a part time finance manager we are looking for a friendly, confident and practical pair of hands to come in and support our experienced head of finance. Ideally you can easily commute to the office, as the plan is to work 2 days a week there with the team and the rest from home.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the month end accounting, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and other month end tasks
Management of sales ledger and credit control
Prepare and post month end journals including prepayments,fixed assets, accruals, and provisions
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including aged debtors, aged payables.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Submission of MTD Quarterly VAT Returns
Preparing various management and month end reports
Supporting the Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks and production of general financial information
Skills
System use (preferred but not essential) - Xero, Procium, Microsoft Excel
Confident communication skills
Team player, flexible and adaptable
Ideally 2-3 years experience minimum working as part of a finance team
Prior experience with VAT and reconciliations
Prior Agency experience
