Finance Manager - Film & TV (14 Months FTC)

Award winning global entertainment company that creates, produces and distributes premium content and brands for all platforms are looking for a strong Finance Manager to join there Central London team.

The Finance Manager will report into the SVP, Finance & Studio and the successful candidate will be responsible for the internal financial reporting of our successful and constantly expanding international distribution division.

Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility to prepare Monthly/Quarterly P&L and Balance sheet, analysis and commentary
  • Full responsibility for quarterly corporate submissions
  • Prepare cash flow for global distribution business
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts and budget in line with FP&A timetables and in conjunction with global sales exec's
  • Sales exec commission reporting and headcount
  • Prepare content marketing, tradeshow budget and forecasting
  • Review producer reporting with rights team
  • Prepare recoupment tracker
  • Liaising with central corporate team, material ops teams, scripted team in Toronto, NY, LA and UK
  • Key point of contact with group finance and respond to queries
  • Liaise with AR and legal on outstanding queries
  • Other duties as required by SVP Finance

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years PQE (ACCA, CIMA)
  • Good Excel skills - vlookups, pivot tables
  • Prior experience with accounting software and rights management database software is a plus (Netsuite, Adaptive, Rightsline)
  • Prior experience dealing with a global head office/parent advantageous
  • Prior experience dealing with multi currencies
  • Ability to both follow direction and work independently to effectively manage workload and prioritize activities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in film distribution, television or other entertainment media is an advantage.
