Handle are working in partnership with a rapidly growing Music Label to assist in their search of a Financial Manager. This entrepreneurial and dynamic company is based London and the opportunity is a fantastic step for a hands on and high calibre accountant.

This client facing position within a fast paced environment, will work closely with senior business figures to assist with key decision making, the responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day financial tasks, including processing the company's purchase and sales ledger, recording bank and credit card transactions and reconciliations and handling intercompany activity.

  • Manage all bank payments and fund transfers

  • Balancing accounts, supplier & bank reconciliations

  • Prepare & post nominal ledger journals

  • Quarterly VAT return preparation

  • Process invoices, receipts, payments

  • Issue & secure payment of sales invoices

  • Debtor/creditor reports - quarterly and year end

  • Payroll

  • Assist with budgets and review variances on a regular basis

  • Liase with external accountants to carry out year-end procedures and finalise accounts

Candidate Requirements

Experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller from the Music or Media Industry

  • Xero Experience

  • Technically skilled / AAT Qualified

  • An ambitious, strong communicator

  • International Experience

  • Strong team management experience
