Finance Manager - Music/Entertainment
One of the world's leading live entertainment and content companies are looking for a qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Finance Manager to join the growing finance function and support the CFO and CEO.
Experience & Duties:
- The Finance Manager will be responsible for day to day running of the finance function
- Manage the junior members of the team, including working on their continuous development
- Month-end reporting including preparation of monthly management accounts, checking against budgets
- Quarterly reporting with variance analysis and commentaries
- Feed individual events in to company accounting
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Reconciling inter-company loan accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns and dealing with HMRC
- Manage the PO process and approve payments
- Support CFO with forecasting and cash flow management
- Supporting the directors with any ad hoc analysis and reports
- Ability to continually update forecasts and give feedback and commentary to CEO
- Continuous process improvement.
- Liaise with external accountants on reporting, and assist with statutory requirements
Skills & Requirements:
- Degree educated and a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACCA)
- Excellent IT skills including advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience of using Xero
- Project management/accounting skills
- Experience in budgeting and cash flow forecasting
- Experience in a music, media or creative industry organisation
- Previous experience in a similar role and in managing a team
- Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills, ability to work well in a team
- Experience dealing with international subsidiaries and foreign currency payments.
