An extremely exciting opportunity has come up for a Financial Controller to join London based media start up company, specialising in building impactful brands and partnering with household names.
As the Financial Controller you will be an integral part in supporting the business give their clients the opportunity to build something bigger than their personal brand.
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller looking to take that next step, to manage the day-to-day activities of the business and performing the month end close. This role will report into the Finance Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monthly processing of all transactions
Raising necessary client invoices
Organising payments of Vendors and once approved load payments into the bank.
Monthly bank reconciliation.
Additional reconciliations as required.
Month End Close.
Preparing the month end reporting pack.
Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Monthly review of project balances
VAT Reporting & Compliance
Posting of journals.
Ad hoc duties as required.
SKILLS:
2 + years of demonstrated Financial Controller or similar experience
Experience of NetSuite and definite advantage but not essential.
Managing team member experience.
Previous experience in the Creative Media and Entertainment sector but not essential.
Proficient in office 365 Microsoft Word, Teams including basic Excel and PowerPoint
Experience of working with various stakeholders and ability to demonstrate and deliver high quality results.
Experience of working within international regions.
