My client is looking for a qualified Accountant who has good knowledge of SAP and has worked at another large global multi-complex business.
Prepare standalone financial statements and notes for select UK entities and support the preparation of consolidated accounts and ensure timely, accurate year-end submissions
Coordinate with external auditors to address queries and ensure a smooth audit process. Stay current with evolving accounting standards and assist in maintaining accounting policies
Deliver accurate financial data to the tax team for internal and external reporting. Estimate FX exposures, review hedge effectiveness, and support FX trade requests
Provide guidance on complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, investments, impairments, leases, tax, foreign exchange, and consolidation
Collaborate with finance teams across the business to support financial accuracy and compliance
Contribute to various tasks and ad-hoc projects as required
Candidate requirements -
ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally with Big 4 training and a strong foundation in auditing and financial accounting
In-depth knowledge of IFRS, FRS 101, consolidation, and financial reporting. Solid understanding of tax reporting and compliance within a financial accounting context
Exposure to media and entertainment sectors preferred, or a strong enthusiasm for the industry. Experience working in matrix organisations is advantageous
Proficient in Excel and SAP for financial analysis and reporting. Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
