IT Manager
We are currently working with a leading entertainment business looking to add an IT Manager to their team.
The IT Manager will be responsible for IT infrastructure, support and development, along with the consolidation of transactional and ticketing data across the business. They will work closely with the Group Director of Business and Operations and Office Coordinator to meet the IT and data needs of the business.
The role:
- Daily IT support across main and regional offices.
- Maintaining and continual improvement of IT infrastructure, processes, and services.
- Managing external IT suppliers' delivery and performance.
- IT purchasing and budgets.
- Managing IT support; ensuring customer and internal queries are handled in line with
expectations.
- Disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Ensuring security is maintained.
- Exception reports, change control and risk assessments.
- Working with our Office Coordinator in procurement, upkeep of office lease / rental contracts
(office WAP phone systems, printers, networks and networking).
- Consolidating transactional data, including ticket sales and corporate bookings, for all the
different venues in a consistent and robust way.
- Integrating new data sources to improve current modelling and decision making capabilities.
- Maintaining testing & backup procedures.
- Documenting processes and developing a core data dictionary.
- Advising on and integrating new data management technologies and software engineering
tools in existing structures.
Requirements:
- IT Systems and infrastructure knowledge.
- Experience of working with the following systems (preferable, but not essential); slack,
monday.com, Google-suite, Microsoft office, Icloud, eventworks, procurify, keynote and more.
- Understanding of Software Development Methodologies and delivery
- Project management experience
- Software development experience
- Apple IOS & Office 365 administration
- Firewall and Networking knowledge
- Microsoft Server Technologies experience
- Windows Server
- SIEM deployment
- SMTP and email technologies
- API and Scripting
- Ability to learn quickly and become skilled on new technologies
