Junior Demand Planner (B2B)

We have a terrific opportunity for a Junior Demand Planner to join a global fashion company in West London, on a permanent basis. Working within an extremely busy Demand Planning team, the successful candidate will work closely with the commercial and buying teams to forecast seasonal trends for wholesale and B2B accounts, with an overall responsibility to identify and map out new season product to current sales and then feedback to the product merchandisers with detailed analysis.


Role Responsibilities

  • Generate timely and accurate demand plans for all product classification on a seasonal/weekly/monthly basis.

  • Plan new product launches with demand forecasts and detailed analysis to anticipate customer's promotions, market trends and discounting.

  • Work with the Wholesale & B2B sales teams, finance and planning manager to track and support improvements in forecast accuracy on a monthly/seasonal basis.

  • Assist in risk assessment & mitigation activities.

  • Successfully run planning tools with sales, stock and intake information, and ability to identify errors and

  • Anomalies.

  • Ensuring product availability and dates are maximised for business needs.

  • Manage SKU's actual target inventories of NOS lines, working closely with the Planning Manager to minimise weeks cover and maximise stock run.

  • Prepare all information for seasonal/monthly/weekly forecast meetings for Wholesale & B2B channels to review forecast accuracy, current ROS vs Wks Cover, seasonal % fulfilment and in-season % sell-out.

  • Identify opportunities to optimise inventory and meet customer demands within the Wholesale & B2B channels.

  • Ad hoc analysis across the planning team.



Candidate Profile

  • Experience of buying or forecasting within fashion or the footwear industry.

  • Wholesale & B2B channel experience is preferable.

  • Strong merchandising background.

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.

  • Knowledge of Tableau would be advantageous.

  • Experienced working with ERP Planning tools and data analytics.

  • Excellent multi-tasker that is happy to take on challenges.

  • Commercially savvy.

  • Positive attitude and a great sense of humour.

  • Hard working, self-motivated and great communicator.

  • Calm temperament under pressure.
