Junior Publicist - Music

A fantastic opportunity with an agency, who have huge, international reach within music has become available. This business offer a fully integrated and strategic PR service for artists, they work closely with their artists to ensure consistent messaging across all media, TV, press and online.

This is the perfect position for someone with demonstrable experience within music publicity, the role will involve running campaigns, assisting on running campaigns as well as securing media coverage across a variety of media including broadsheets, tabloids, music, press and TV. A passion for music and desire to excel within the industry is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running press and TV campaigns overseen by company directors
  • Assisting the company directors on large-scale campaigns
  • Securing coverage across a wide range of press, as well as interview features, shoots, covers, live reviews and tips
  • Pitching to TV talent bookers for performances and appearances
  • Setting up, attending and running promo days
  • Attending artist gigs and entertaining media
  • Liaising with artist management and label teams
  • Writing and servicing media blasts and press releases

You Will Have:

  • Previous within Music PR
  • A passion for music and desire to excel within the industry
  • Great copy and written skills
  • A natural ability to engage and maintain meaningful relationships within the industry
  • The ability to work well within a team and the confidence to self-motivate
  • An understanding of the wider media landscape
