An instantly recognisable name in the entertainment industry is looking for a Legal & Business Affairs Manager with some experience of commercial agreements in the TV industry. Reporting to the Head of Legal, the role is a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer to work on a range of matters with a variety of stakeholders in a supportive, creative and fun environment.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Advising on, drafting and negotiating on a broad range of legal and business affairs deals - principally focusing on the production, distribution and sale of AV content, including TV, film and digital;

  • Assisting with handling legal and business affairs related issues and collaborating across a variety of internal departments, including finance, development, production, sales and marketing teams;

  • Updating relevant internal systems to reflect rights positions and maintaining contracts databases;

  • General legal, commercial correspondence and administrative duties; and

  • Supporting a legal intern when required

To be considered, you should be a qualified lawyer with c.0-1yrs PQE* with legal experience in the TV sector and have demonstrable knowledge and experience of drafting development, production, distribution, sales and acquisition related contracts for TV programmes and films. You should have a keen interest in continuing a career in the TV, music and entertainment industry.
