A highly reputable and industry giant are looking to recruit a permanent Management Accountant for their London HQ. This Management Accountant will be responsible for all financial reporting and related commercial analysis.

The ideal candidate will be working towards the end of their financial qualifications (ACCA/CIMA) with prior experience working within a commercial management accounts focused role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the Creative industry and looking to make their own mark!

The role offers hybrid working, a fantastic office space with flexibility and the opportunity to continue progressing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management accounts for the property related entities including journal posting, monthly KPI commentary and schedule compilation and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Completion of budget and forecasting for all revenue and costs lines

  • Line management of Finance Analyst

  • Ensure accurate accounting of quarterly service charge revenues and costs and manage annual budget process

  • Ensure accurate internal and external reporting for all rent incomes, related costs and analysis

  • Support commercial teams in key business decisions including new tenant leases, service charge review, car parking analysis and new contracts.

  • Working alongside the Head of Commercial Finance and General Managers of relevant businesses to deliver timely accurate financial information and seek to make cost savings and/or drive revenues

  • Assist with other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Head of Commercial Finance

  • Assist in developing and maintaining effective team work within departments and offices across the globe and with external stakeholders

  • Provide and promote the highest level of customer service

  • Continuously seek ways to improve personal, team and business performance

  • Ensure that all relevant information is communicated speedily and accurately in a way that ensures that the information is received and easily understood

  • Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable request as requested by the Finance Director and any member of the senior management team

Key skills:

  • Ideally studying towards an ACCA or CIMA qualification (Part qualified or finalist level would be ideal unless already fully qualified)

  • Prior experience working in a hands on management accounts focused role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organised with ability to manage own work load in a fast paced environment

  • Strong financial analytical skills and eye for detail

  • Strong commercial experience and ability to help in strategic decisions

  • Strong IT skills
