We are seeking an experienced Production Designer to join the Content Design team at a global technology company. In this role, you will create captivating visuals for the digital books platform, helping readers discover and enjoy their next favourite read.

This will initially be a contract position and is a hybrid role (3 days in office and 2 wfh) It is essential that applicants are able to travel into London for this role

What You'll Do:

  • Design and adapt key artwork for features, curated collections, and promotional campaigns.

  • Collaborate with art directors, creative producers, and editorial teams to bring campaigns to life.

  • Craft visually stunning presentations for partners and stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain design systems and templates for consistent, scalable production.

  • Document workflows, maintain style guides, and share best practices with the team.

  • Ensure all design assets meet the highest quality standards before publication.

What We're Looking For:

  • Exceptional visual and communication design skills, especially in typography and layout.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Photoshop for cover art adaptation.

  • Strong photo retouching, compositing, and colour correction experience.

  • Ability to create and maintain cohesive visual systems across multiple formats.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent file-naming and workflow discipline.

  • Clear communicator, comfortable articulating design decisions to diverse stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and thrives in a global creative environment.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in publishing, marketing, editorial design, or digital book retail.

  • Understanding of diverse reader demographics and genre-specific design approaches.

  • Passion for books and their cultural impact.

Your Portfolio Should Include:

  • Strong typography and thoughtful layout work.

  • Examples of adapting/enhancing artwork while maintaining brand integrity.

  • Projects demonstrating attention to detail and narrative storytelling through design.
