Highly successful and rapidly growing Television Production Company are looking for a Production Finance Manager on a Temp or Temp to Perm basis. The production Finance Manager will take full ownership of the production accountancy function and oversee the production accounting team.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will incorporate the following responsibilities:
- Supervise the Production Accounting Team including start up and closure of productions
- Strengthen internal control systems between finance and production.
- Continuous system improvement to implement a fully integrated digitised workflow
- Supervise and Maintaining all Production Accounting Manuals and policies and templates
- Ensuring productions are budgeted, reconciled and reported correctly both for internal and external purposes
- Oversee Production Accountants, often off site and ensure month end reporting on shows are reconciled and submitted to corporate accounting in a timely fashion for consolidation
- Oversee and monitor Production Tax Credits
- Manage yearly company audits
- Manage Payroll and IR35 determinations
The successful candidate will ideally come from a TV production accounting background
