Publicist - Music

This is a really great opportunity for a Music Publicist to join an exciting, innovative, and rapidly growing entertainment company that work with a variety of music clients.

In this role you will be singlehandedly leading on music client campaigns from singles, tours, to album releases and everything in between. They are so much more than a Publicist to their clients and count themselves as part of the artist's team.

You will have a keen eye for spotting key moments in a campaign to maximise promotional opportunities for our artists and will be an active player in growing the roster whilst building and maintaining relationships with managers, labels, and promoters.

You'll be working all aspects of print, online and TV publicity so if you're capable of getting front covers but can also go and secure primetime television performances and make our artists superstars, then this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of publicity campaigns
  • Outline overall strategy for clients and work closely to achieve their end goal
  • Create meaningful and impactful publicity that will make this companies roster of clients stand out
  • Deliver fully integrated PR by pitching to press, TV and ad-hoc radio
  • Be the person who liaises between client, the media and public
  • Attend relevant shoots, red carpets, and press trips - as well interviews in person and over the phone
  • Be the person to handle high profile stories and can manage media issues tactically
  • Pitch for new artists and actively grow the company roster

You will have

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Fantastic verbal and written communication skills
  • A great network of contacts within music and other industries
  • The ability to stay up to date with trends in the industry
  • Previous experience working in PR and track successful track record of artist campaigns
