Publicist - Podcast

This is a genuinely unique opportunity to join an agency who are proud to be market leaders in the growing world of Podcasts! This is a fantastic opportunity for Publicists from the world of entertainment with the chance to work with huge household names and brands on their podcasts, plus the biggest podcasting events in the UK including award ceremonies, live shows and ground-breaking industry festivals.

This is a 'growth mind-set' environment and alongside a passionate and talented bunch of other publicity professionals. This is a brilliant role for a candidate with Publicity experience, and a genuine passion for the podcast world. You will be working across a broad range of genres, including celebrity interviews, comedy / satire, true crime, documentary & current affairs.

We are looking for a Publicist who has managed end to end campaigns, wants to work with a team of positive, proactive and like-minded people, ready to bring their knowledge and industry expertise to this growing business.

Key responsibilities

  • Run podcast publicity campaigns, from launch through to series end
  • Create imaginative and creative press moments that will make clients stand out
  • Secure and coordinate news, interviews, reviews and roundups
  • Pitch key quotes to press upon release of each weekly podcast episode
  • Be part of weekly meetings, outline campaign strategies and contribute to overall strategy of podcasting clientele
  • Oversee client schedules to book in shoots and interviews
  • Work across podcasting events, including award ceremonies, live shows and industry trade festivals
  • Act as a liaison between the client, the media and the general public
  • Build strong relationships with high-profile clients / production companies and wider stakeholders
  • Manage fortnightly press reports
  • Lookout for new podcasts and production companies to work alongside

You will have

  • Fantastic attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • The ability to stay up to date with trends in the industry and share knowledge across teams, clients and stakeholders
  • A great network of contacts within entertainment
  • A genuine passion and interest in podcasts
  • Previous experience working in PR
  • A real passion for the entertainment industry
  • Confidence in helping out with any task - a no task too big or small attitude
