Senior Digital Data Analyst

We are working with a very well-known media/entertainment brand, looking to add a senior digital data analyst to their team.

You will be working with the dynamic Digital team, alongside Product and Marketing professionals. Part of a cross-functional team including product managers, digital marketers, designers, and engineers, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the development of the product and drive success in the client's acquisition/retention activity. You will establish a reporting framework for a new digital product by identifying data requirements and creating reporting that drives the success of our digital products.

The role:

  • Define key product metrics and track KPIs to analyse what really matters

  • Work as part of the agile delivery team through the development lifecycle to make sure we collect the data to produce relevant business insights

  • Understand user behaviour and identify levers to help move key metrics

  • Influence the roadmap of product teams through presentation of data-based recommendations

  • Build models of user-segmentation, marketing attribution, customer lifetime value etc.

  • Communicate the results and implications of reporting to senior management, marketing, product and engineering stakeholders, via dashboards, automated reporting and ad hoc presentations.

  • Identify opportunities for and carry out AB & multivariate testing



Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis within in a digital subscription product environment, preferably with a media background

  • Proven experience in working on greenfield projects and defining data requirements for new products and familiarity with database design

  • Experience with web based services and native apps.

  • Ability to work autonomously and independently in cross-functional teams

  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills: able to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders in an engaging and visual manner
  • Demonstrable practical experience and knowledge of statistics (e.g. hypothesis testing,regressions, segmentations, building models)

  • Excellent demonstrable experience of Google Analytics and Google DataStudio or similar products, and of SQL-based query interfaces and raw data analysis tools
