Senior Financial Analyst - TV Production
Global TV Production and Distribution giant are looking for a qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA Senior Financial Analyst to join the UK central finance team based in London, this is a recently created role reporting into the Head of FP&A.
The Internal Reporting and Analysis team is focused on providing timely and accurate consolidated financial information, and insightful / informative analysis across the UK Group covering all internal financial reporting and planning.
The role has key working relationships with the Management Accounts team, Head of Reporting & FP&A, Head of External Reporting, and Heads of Label Finance.
Duties:
- Preparation and review of UK Group Budget and Full Year Forecasts including the P&L, B/S, Cashflow (assisted by label management accountants)
- Preparation and review of UK Group Reporting including YTD P&L, B/S, Cashflow and disclosures versus Budget, prior forecast and prior year
- Preparation of consolidated Business Review Meeting (BRM) presentation decks including analytics and commentary
- Preparation of UK Management team dashboards / KPIs and information packs including analytics and commentary
- Working with Heads of Finance to prepare consolidated strategic plan (LRP) including SAP BFC input
- Preparation of analysis and commentary packs giving in-depth analysis of Actuals, Forecast and Budget versus comparatives which will include net working capital, cash analysis and other balance sheet and other disclosures
- Supporting Group Finance team to develop reporting and visibility of label reporting in SAP BFC
- Ad hoc analysis based on queries from Group Finance and UK Senior Management
- Preparation of financial models, sensitivity analysis and ROI calculations for prospective future transactions to aid commercial and strategic decision making
- Regular liaison, collaboration and partnering with all areas of finance to plan and co-ordinate all planning and analysis tasks
Knowledge & Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- An organised, self-motivated and pro-active individual - able to work independently and take responsibility for ensuring high quality deliverables on a timely basis
- Advanced Excel skills are essential including experience of financial modelling in Excel and management information pack creation
- Experience in using PowerPoint and financial reporting and consolidation systems, including SAP BFC, would be beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal skills - able to work with all levels of management within the UK and Group Finance Team player and collaborator
- Excellent communication and confident story-telling skills are essential
- Ability to cope in a busy and demanding work environment with regular & conflicting deadlines
