Social Media Manager - Entertainment

We are working on a fantastic new Social Media Manager role for a service that is supported by a global business. They are an educational service who will be bringing in celebrities to help ignite their learner's passion and fundamental skills across different aspirational subjects.

This service is launching an exciting and ambitious global marketing program very soon and is looking for the perfect social media expert to help build and engage communities across their social media channels.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and create the day-to-day social content output for all channels across social & integrated campaigns
  • Working closely with the in-house creative team to manage the full content creation process
  • Contribute to creative brainstorms for integrated campaigns and social media activations, working collaboratively with wider teams (especially Partnerships & Influencer)
  • Responsible for the monthly social calendar from ideation to implementation
  • Create strong supporting social copy, helping evolve social brand TOV
  • Proactively identify any cultural moments & conversations
  • Develop community management plans, working collaboratively with strategy, marketing and customer care teams, on community rollout and engagement strategy
  • Where appropriate, identify and respond to social community in order to drive deeper engagement
  • Use social listening tools to monitor content performance
  • Stay up-to-date with latest platform developments
  • Contribute to social strategy reports and social insight gathering, to help inform wider business strategy

You will have:

  • Social media content planning across all main channels
  • Advanced platform knowledge especially of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (TikTok would be a bonus)
  • The ability to brief all social content into design studio
  • Experience in day-to-day publishing and management of all social channels
  • Experience with Influencer campaigns - set up and management
  • Strong verbal and written skills, and excellent project management skills
  • Working knowledge of PR, and its integration with social
  • Some knowledge of paid social, especially Facebook Ads Manager, would be useful
