Handle are excited to be partnering with a hugely successful eCom business who have an opportunity for a progressive and strategic People partner to join their evolving People team.

This business is absolutely thriving! Beyond 'start-up' phase now, but they still have ambitious growth plans and they are looking to create an inspirational and scalable culture which truly allows people to be at their best!

The strategic People Partner is a new role working specifically with the tech team who are set to expand from 200 to over 400 people in the next couple of years. Working as an intrinsic part of the Tech Leadership team, you will work as a true business partner, getting under the skin of this part of the organisation and creating a bespoke strategy addressing their needs. You will be working autonomously as the strategic lead in Technology, whist leveraging the expertise from the wider people & talent team, and collaborating with the other People Partners across the business


To be successful in this role, you will need to be curious, able to build trust easily and brave enough to challenge the status quo. This is an exciting and challenging role in a business that moves at pace and is not for the faint hearted! There is a requirement for continued delivery, driving the people strategy and implementing scaleable solutions which can flex and grow as fast as the business.


Who you are:

  • Experienced and competent generalist with a significant HR business partnering experience

  • You'll have worked in Technology and have an understanding of the key challenges in the sector, and be excited by the tech world!

  • Used to partnering with leadership level, you'll have brilliant stakeholder management skills

  • Experience of gaining commitment from others by persuading, convincing and negotiating!

  • Team orientated at all times, with excellent interpersonal skills, down to earth and fun to work with.

  • Able to work at pace and comfortable with ambiguity

  • Data led and able to work with complex metrics and drive improvements

  • Enjoy working in an entrepreneurial culture that demands a great deal from its people.
